For the uninitiated, a dispensary in Africa is a structure halfway between a pharmacy, a clinic and a hospital. Currently, in Nyakipambo, visits to those with health problems are carried out, pregnant women are checked, vaccines are carried out and drugs are dispensed, including those for HIV, beds are available for pregnant women.
Thanks to the implementations carried out over the last 4 years, the dispensary is currently recognized by the Tanzanian Ministry of Health and is active 24 hours a day. The staff that manages it, provided by the state, is made up of two doctors and three nurses who alternate in three shifts a day (morning, afternoon and night), a midwife and a laboratory technique. ADJ contributed to the purchase of a laboratory machine (blood cell counter to perform the blood count).
Like any structure recognized by the state, the Nyakipambo dispensary is also under control and a series of implementations have recently been requested, including a real delivery room. This is ADJ's new challenge, the Maternity Unit project.
Work on the building began about a year ago, and as shown above, it is now nearly complete, with the perimeter walls and roof fully constructed. The next phase—which includes plastering, installation of electrical and plumbing systems, and the setup of all essential machinery and equipment required for full operational functionality—is contingent on the success of our ongoing fundraising efforts.

One of the ways of raising funds is the 5 x 1000 that the State grants, at its own expense deriving from the taxes we pay every year, to whom we indicate in the tax return phase.

The success of this and all other projects depends on everyone. We put our face, heart and commitment into it, every supporter puts what he can, it will always be a welcome and unforgettable contribution for all the children in Nyakipambo.
