ADJ was born ten years ago and today there could not be a better gift to celebrate this anniversary. Fausta was the first child adopted by Friends of Julie, with her the adoption project began in 2013. At the end of 2021 Fausta enrolled in the Clinical Office course at the Ipamba Hospital, the first training step to become a doctor.
A huge satisfaction for all of us !!!!
THE NEW CHALLENGE: THE DELIVERY ROOM OF THE DISPENSARY IN NYAKIPAMBO

For the uninitiated, a dispensary in Africa is a structure halfway between a pharmacy, a clinic and a hospital. Currently, in Nyakipambo, visits to those with health problems are carried out, pregnant women are checked, vaccines are carried out and drugs are dispensed, including those for HIV, beds are available for pregnant women.
Thanks to the implementations carried out over the last 4 years, the dispensary is currently recognized by the Tanzanian Ministry of Health and is active 24 hours a day. The staff that manages it, provided by the state, is made up of two doctors and three nurses who alternate in three shifts a day (morning, afternoon and night), a midwife and a laboratory technique. ADJ contributed to the purchase of a laboratory machine (blood cell counter to perform the blood count).
Like any structure recognized by the state, the Nyakipambo dispensary is also under control and a series of implementations have recently been requested, including a real delivery room. This is ADJ's new challenge, the Maternity Unit project.
Currently ADJ has a project and an estimate of the construction costs. The fundraising activity is ongoing but we need the help of everyone who believes in us.
One of the ways of raising funds is the 5 x 1000 that the State grants, at its own expense deriving from the taxes we pay every year, to whom we indicate in the tax return phase.
The success of this and all other projects depends on everyone. We put our face, heart and commitment into it, every supporter puts what he can, it will always be a welcome and unforgettable contribution for all the children in Nyakipambo.

A SCHOOL BUS FOR NYAKIPAMBO

Sometimes the days start with a "surprise" from Nyakipambo. So in November 2021 the old Range Rover with which Father Methodius was moving from one village to another decided to breathe his last breaths. Yet he had only traveled a few hundred thousand kilometers !! That sort of equipped van was indispensable, very often it served as a transport for children who have to travel kilometers and kilometers of inaccessible roads to reach the school in Nyakipambo, risking dangers of many kinds, the girls even sexual harassment. Thus, in agreement with Father Methodius, the ADJ executive board meeting decided to raise funds to buy a small bus to be used as a school bus to allow as many children as possible to start their study course safely. Soon the photographs of the school bus !!!!

Many children in Nyakipambo need help because they are orphaned or abandoned by their families. Child sponsorship with ADJ guarantees that all money sent is donated to support the expenses for the food, accommodation and education of one or more children at the Nyakipambo school.
